I was on the Facebook Stories team for 3 years at Meta, leading initiatives such as the Stories Design System, improvements to the producer experience, and deepening engagement across Stories.

Process

I jumped in to drive a 0→1 feature called Story Comments, which had been debated internally for some time. I helped the team reach a ship decision by crafting a phased launch plan that addressed key concerns incrementally, then led a vision sprint that built momentum across the team and secured leadership buy-in to move forward.

Implementation

I redesigned the comment sheet to feel more native to the Stories format.

Other Work

In addition to Story Comments, I worked on improving the producer experience, designed lightweight feedback animations to increase engagement, and stood up a Stories design review process for teams building into the ecosystem.
